Seventeen-year-old Emma, known to most people in the hobby horsing community by her nickname kht princátko (or simply Em), is a person full of creativity and energy. She is a high school student, has been riding Icelandic horses for many years, enjoys drawing, and sews hobby horses and equipment for others. Wherever she travels to explore new places, her hobby horses – or at least a needle and thread – always travel with her.
For Em, hobby horsing is not just about athletic performance or breaking records. She sees it primarily as a space for expressing her creativity and as a safe, comfortable zone where no one is afraid to make new lifelong friendships.

You've been involved in hobby horsing since 2022. What initially drew you to this sport?
I got into HH thanks to a friend I used to ride horses with. I stayed with her for a week during the holidays, and I tried it for fun at her place and immediately brought home my first horse – Prince.🤍
What do you love most about hobby horsing?
Creativity, whether it's in training, events, or crafting. I sew horses and equipment myself. For me, it really develops imagination.
Besides hobby horsing, you have many other hobbies, including riding Icelandic horses. What is it like to combine these two types of riding?
It's quite combinable. Thanks to HH, I maintain good physical fitness, and thanks to riding, I have good balance for HHSing.
Would you share with us how many hobby horses you have stabled?
Currently, I have 8 horses: Tercie, Ally, Samson, Jamie, Oxy, Myles, Edda, and Timothy. But the stable will soon expand with one more piece, and that's Hope.🙈🤍
