At JUHI, we believe that hobby horsing is not just about beautiful horses, but above all about the joy of movement, friendship, and perseverance. That is why we are incredibly happy that what started as a leisure activity has grown into an official JUHI club, where new talents in this sport are developing under the guidance of excellent instructors.
Verča: The Heart of the Club and Our Workshop
The main face of our team is the wonderful Verča. You may know her as an instructor, but she is also an indispensable part of our JUHI workshop. She is a true knitting expert. Without her patience and skilful hands, our hand-knitted bonnets — the ones your hobby horses love to wear — simply wouldn’t exist. Verča beautifully connects the world of production with real training in the field.
Surprise goodie bags for the members of our club
A Christmas Surprise That Made Hearts Race
The end of last year was absolutely magical for our members. We wanted to reward the girls for their hard work, so each of them received a basic “team” outfit: a JUHI logo T-shirt and a pair of stylish knee-high socks.
But the biggest surprise was hidden in a bag decorated with Swarovski crystals. To make it fair, the girls drew lots and then took turns pulling out their new partners — our brand new sport ponies. Soon, ponies of every colour were dashing around the club: from the spotted Monty and Dakota to the bay Terra and the luxurious Black Diamond and Vanilla Berry.

Our First Competition — and a Shower of Medals Right Away!🏆

It became clear that our training is paying off on 6 December 2025 at the competition in Strakonice. Our riders were absolutely shining, and we couldn’t be prouder:
- Show jumping 40 cm: We completely dominated the podium! Hanička won an amazing 1st place, right behind her in 2nd place was Majda, and the “potato” but still wonderful 4th place went to Julinka.
- Show jumping 50 cm: Terezka made us very happy here, taking a beautiful 5th place in strong competition.
- Other disciplines: Hanička confirmed her great form and brought home 5th place in the Open limit, 5th place in the barrel race, and finished her day with another 5th place in the puissance.

Thank you to all the parents and children for your trust. Our JUHI club is proof that when a passion for sport is combined with honest handmade production, the results don’t take long to appear!

Our club in Hluboká nad Vltavou runs at full speed twice a week:
Wednesdays: 3:00–4:00 pm at the Sokolovna sports hall
Thursdays: 3:00–4:00 pm in the gym of the Hluboká nad Vltavou Primary School
