You may have encountered the opinion that hobby horsing is just a children's game. But at JUHI, we know it's so much more. It's a passion, it's a sport, and it's a community. And because we share the same values and enthusiasm for this amazing sport, we have joined forces with the Czech Hobby Horsing Federation (ČeHoF), and our collaboration has been going strong for over a year now. We are not just sellers; we are proud partners and sponsors.

A Partnership Built on Strong Foundations
Our decision to support ČeHoF was not random. In their approach, we see the same principles on which we at JUHI also build. Among these is definitely community support. Since its inception, the Federation has actively strived to support, develop, and listen to riders. It organizes events, weekend training camps, summer camps, competitions, and is always willing to help and advise clubs and individuals. It is this community-oriented and helpful spirit that we find very appealing.
Like us, ČeHoF places great emphasis on the health and safety of young athletes. They were the first in the Czech Republic to introduce key safety rules, such as the mandatory minimum pole width for hobby horses and the prohibition of running in halls without suitable sports footwear. These are steps that we fully support and consider essential for the professionalization of the sport.
ČeHoF has been organizing competitions since 2021, and in 2023, it was behind the organization of the first-ever Czech Championship. This tradition and a clear vision of where to direct the sport convinced us that this is where we want to be.

Proud Partner of the Royal Discipline: Puissance
Our partnership with the Czech Hobby Horsing Federation takes a concrete form: we are a proud sponsor of one of the most thrilling and spectator-friendly disciplines – the Puissance competition.
Puissance is a royal discipline that perfectly tests the athletic abilities, courage, and harmony between the rider and their hobby horse. It is a test where every centimeter counts and limits are pushed. You might be wondering how such a competition works? According to ČeHoF's official rules, the competition takes place over a single obstacle. The event often starts at an impressive height of 50 cm. With each successful round, the bar relentlessly rises – typically by 10 cm up to the magical one-meter mark, and then by 5 cm, when true precision and strength come into play.

The drama lies in the fact that in each round, the rider has only one attempt to clear the obstacle. Every jump counts. It is an incredible test of technique, concentration, and mental resilience. Why did we choose this particular discipline? Because Puissance embodies everything we believe in at JUHI: performance, pushing limits, and the need for equipment built for such performance. For a safe high jump, you need a hobby horse that is not only light but also perfectly balanced, strong, and safe.

Our partnership is not just about words. Already in 2024, our club in Hluboká nad Vltavou, in cooperation with ČeHoF, organized exciting qualifying competitions for the 2024 Czech Championship in Český Krumlov. Competitors battled for valuable points, and we were happy to contribute to the prizes for future champions – one of ten specially prepared JUHI hobby horses with a lifetime guarantee.
